Day five
Today I wanted to do something for my cat because she is awesome. I know I'm a crazy cat lady but I think most of my friends are crazy animal people so I feel like its justifiable. I made her a candy cane mouse. I feel that carma is wondering about the holidays and whether or not cheese or the candy cane mouse is better. You should be the judge; should she eat cheese or candy? I know she will be happy no matter what is said, so lets hear it what is better for the kitty?

Day Four
Today I went to fill out an application in hopes of getting a job doing graphics work. It turned out the company was not in need of any help. The point to this is that on my way there I was feeling very assertive and from my own perspective very manly. This feeling got me thinking about all manly things and what I would do to create something that is manly. I came up with this design. I think that it would work well for websites that want a sleek look that would not send men or woman running for the hills after the insane 10 second glance that appears to be a common trait in avid internet users.

Day Three
Today I made a template for an Herb Garden. I knew I wanted to use a stick figure in the template because one of my favorite past times is destroying these little guys on some lovely stick figure websites. It was nice to spend some time creating one, and I know the entire stick figure world is a happier place because of it. Once the little guy herb was alive and well I new that I wanted the template to seem cozy so that all ages could enjoy it. I think that this temp has achieved this goal through the use of bright colors and a playful font.

Day Two
Today I felt like making an eyeball. Eyes are soooooo weird. They are crazy squishy, and when they're a weird color I feel like I'm in a horror film. If anyone has more thoughts on eyeballs I would love to hear them. Other than being freaked out by eyeballs I think this template would be good for a conspiracy theory website and/or medical websites. A conspiracy theory website would at least be watching who ever is watching them when using an eyeball on they're website. For a medical website I know I would feel more confidant reading it if the eyeball at least looked recognizable. I'm sure there are other uses for this small temp but I think I should stop typing and get lost in the eye for awhile.

First day
I desperately need to create. This blog is going to feed my addiction. I will be creating 365 web templates in 365 days. My goal is to get my art out there while building an awesome portfolio. Every day I will talk about the process of my creations. In return I would love to hear any comments or ideas. For this first template I just wanted to do something basic so I went with a red curtain layout. I just like the idea of a red carpet theme I think that its format is functional and easily related to which would make it useful in a variety of situations that needed a little wow factor. All of this work was done in photo shop using basic filters.
